The Club runs a regular coaching session most Saturdays at the track, for riders aged 4 and over of all abilities.

We have a Club Development Pathway and all new riders are subject to an induction on their first session and will be required to be able to undertake a number of basic tasks to ensure they are able to enjoy group coaching safely and effectively.

Riders are split into the following groups:
• Advanced
• Core
• Fundamentals, incorporating our “Intro to BMX” session for brand new riders

Please see the criteria here – Coaching Development Structure

Sessions are led by the club’s British Cycling Level 2 BMX qualified coaching team.

Lead coaches Jools and Gav have been running Saturday training sessions at Braintree for 10 years now and are often supported by local, up-and-coming BMX superstars, Josh Butson and Taylor Andrews.
